The Power of Community: How Knights of Columbus Unites Us in Faith and Service

As members of the John A. Kenna council of the Knights of Columbus, we are proud to be part of a community that unites us in faith and service. The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization of Catholic men that was founded in 1882 with the mission of providing financial help to families in need and promoting Catholic values. Today, the Knights of Columbus has over 2 million members worldwide and is one of the largest Catholic organizations in the world.

At the heart of the Knights of Columbus is our commitment to charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. These principles guide us as we work to make a positive impact in our local communities and beyond. Our council is involved in a wide range of activities that support these principles, including:

  • Charitable fundraising events to support local organizations and individuals in need
  • Volunteer work at local hospitals and nursing homes
  • Support for our parish and diocese through donations and service
  • Community outreach programs to promote Catholic values and strengthen our community

Through these activities, our council has become an integral part of the community at St. Anthony of Padua parish in Temperance, MI. We are proud to be able to serve our community and support those in need, and we are grateful for the opportunity to do so as members of the Knights of Columbus.

The Benefits of Membership

Joining the Knights of Columbus is more than just joining an organization – it is becoming part of a brotherhood that shares your values and supports you in your faith and service. As a member of the Knights of Columbus, you will have access to a wide range of benefits, including:

  • Fraternal support and camaraderie
  • Opportunities for spiritual growth and service
  • Access to exclusive insurance and financial products
  • Discounts on a range of products and services

But perhaps the most important benefit of membership is the sense of purpose and fulfillment that comes from giving back to your community and living out your Catholic faith. As Knights of Columbus, we are called to be men of faith and action, and we take that responsibility seriously.
