The John A. Kenna Council of the Knights of Columbus: Serving the Community with Greatness

The Beginnings of the Knights of Columbus Council

The John A. Kenna Council of the Knights of Columbus was founded in 1956 out of the St. Anthony of Padua parish in Temperance, MI. Since then, the council has been actively serving the community in various ways, making a positive impact on the lives of countless individuals.

Throughout the years, the council has remained steadfast in its commitment to upholding the principles of unity, charity, fraternity, and patriotism, which are at the core of the Knights of Columbus organization.

Our Community Service Initiatives

As part of our mission to serve the community, the John A. Kenna Council of the Knights of Columbus has implemented a number of initiatives to help those in need. For example, we organize food drives to provide for families and individuals who struggle with food insecurity. Additionally, we have partnered with local organizations to help combat homelessness and provide shelter and support for those in need.

Another one of our key initiatives is our support for individuals with intellectual disabilities. We organize various events and activities to help these individuals feel included and supported, including special olympics and other sporting events.
